I Chief Patrick Sarrazin would like to take the opportunity to apologize for the lack of updates and communicating efforts regarding LINNA, We had suffered several misfortunate condition relayed to our office staffing and family members along with several supporting members moved on to different carriers .

I have spent the past 38 years working in the Construction and Pipelines and Oil Fields within Canada and reside in North Bay, Ontario , Canada.
I was nominated to lead the people in a direction that helps all North American Indians as my late Grand Father: John McConnell and my Late Grand Mother: Philemon Lamere was a cousin to the late William Commanda Hereditary Grand Chief: and elected to be in the early 1900 as the Algonquin Chief, who has resided in the Golder Lake territory and proud to be part Algonquin Of Pixwakanagan First Nation Community
I am a trapper as my late Grand Father John McConnell and my father Paul Sarrazin It was left to me by my father and grand father and today I continue to trap and hunt and live off the land. Hunting is in my blood – it is not a sport, it is my INHERENT RIGHT.

Standing Chief Patrick Sarrazin lets speak with one vision, one voice and one mission:
I would like to commit on the fathers before us and their inherent rights; that today they are still protected in the Royal Proclamation of 1763 and in the Charter of Rights of 1982.
I would like to say that with the ever changing vision – every 4 years- from the Governments within North America, there is one thing on their side; money. With that money they continue to buy power and to influence nations, which only work harder to divide their own people, white or black. We are the poorest people and the fastest growing population with only approximately 400,000 between 2001 and 2006, with a faster immigration rate at 1.2 million in the last five years.
I would like to ask for your hands, vision and guidance for the future in uniting our people in Canada, North America and around the world, and to bring back what we are losing by uniting our people and overcoming obstacles within the Indian Act in Canada.
Press on; nothing in the world can take the place of perseverance. Talent will not – nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not – unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not – the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are important.
I continue to work and push beyond my potential and fight to see my people first and foremost with a smile of joy when we are all standing together.

In our daily lives we encounter all kinds of problems, obstacles and people. The outcome of all these encounters are always determined by our own attitudes tone them positive will nearly always bring about a positive result, while a negative approach will always create a negative result.

The facts of a circumstance are secondary to the attitude of a person in achieving a successful outcome. If this was not the case and the facts were most important then there would be no progress in our lives, we would still live in prehistoric environment. The next time you hear someone say, “That it can’t be done, we tried it once, they tried it and others have tried, you might as well not bother” remember it was the attitude that defeat them. Je voudrais commettre sur les pères avant nous et leurs droits inhérents; cela aujourd’hui ils sont toujours protégés dans la Déclaration Royale de 1763 et dans la Charte de Droits de 1982.

L’enregistrement par la Ligue n’est pas une adhésion dans une organisation. Votre carte ne crée pas de nouveaux droits ni accorde le statut comme “un indien” du point de vue de l’acte indien. Comme une personne de descente aborigène, vous avez déjà des droits aborigènes au-delà de ceux exposé dans l’acte indien.
C’est toute notre responsabilité d’agir de cette connaissance, inspirer chaque force spirituelle et s’unir dans la lutte vers un plus grand avenir pour nos générations.
